Amon the Ammonite

Picture
  · Children love sea creatures.

· The ammonite is a special sea creature.

· Children learn facts about the ammonite.

· Children identify with Amon because he doesn’t fit it.

· Children learn about self-worth.

· Amon becomes a favorite character!

Amon is an ammonite that feels sad and alone.  He doesn’t feel special like his friends Flo, Sal, Flash and Dash. Amon runs away from home only to find out just how special he is.  When he meets God, wonderful things happen.

You and your child will enjoy reading about the extinct ammonite and how its shell forms the beautiful colors over years of time.  The pictures of an actual ammolite shell are fascinating, especially when learning it is millions of years old.  Your child will want to study the ammonite and discover more about it.
